Transcend recently launched its 16GB Jetflash V85 USB Flash drive in India. Its sleek and shiny surface and dimensions of 49 X 16 mm (approx.) gives a cut to it above others in design. As always, Transcend has emphasized on speed and quality data transfer. Keeping in mind with the growing amount of portable data (thanks to internet), Transcend has done a need job.

Some new features of this drive are a USB compliant 2.0 which is backward compliant with 1.0 and 1.1. It can be used as a key to lock your computer. Use the in-built powerful AES encryption tool to secure your messages, backup and synchronize data.
A sleek metal carrying chain comes with the package so that you can hang it around your neck. Its priced at Rs.4250 /- . Although, the price is high for a typical Indian user it is expected to come down. Currently, only Supertron electronics and Mediaman Infotech Pvt Ltd are authorised dealers.
