Adobe Systems Inc. have released a customised version of their flash player that will allow search engines to crawl easily through their flash videos. Now, we will easily be able to search and find our way to sites with flash content.
Search engines have long since expressed difficulty over crawling non-text ads. Although they can recognize names of the flash files, they still have difficulty with sites which depend majorly on flash presentations and content. With this new custom software, Google crawlers will able to click on flash files and index them more easily.
Google have already started implenmenting it and Adobe will extend this software to other search engines soon. Webmasters don’t need to change anything on their site as this implementation will be transparent.
But embedded text will still be omitted i.e text as images will be omitted.
