Google Adsense for online Gaming

Google announced the launch of Google Adsense for Games very recently. The Internet search giant has found a way into the world of online gaming.

Now this is a software which allows the advertisers, producers and the analysts to place ads without the actual content of online games. Just like the Yahoo! Games and Microsoft Games, Google Adsense for games has entered the market and so the viewers can play the online games and if you are a ‘Beta user of AdSense for games you can also place ads i.e displaying image ads, video ads, etc, without your online games to earn revenue. The content producers and the advertisers are charged on the basis of cost per click or cost per impression with the profit/revenue being split between Google and the game developers. Publishers who have many more game plays and atleast 80% of their traffic are eligible to participate in the beta version. Once AdSense is implemented, publishers will have control over when an ad is shown as frames after the game or a level change. While search related ad-revenue is increasing so is the number of online users playing internet games.

What’s more, companies like Konami, Zynga, Mochimedia are participating in this and in a way Google is getting in the game and is integrating the ads very well.

It's very calm over here, why not leave a comment?
