How many of you tried the cut or copy and then paste? Loads I guess. Steam is a giant Internet gaming platform from Valve that allows you to purchase and play games online with loads of other multiplayers all over the world. Did I mention its also the safest on Earth?

You can never use a fake CD key or try any other crap like that. Steam is one giant Fortress. Anyway, to the topic. Steam Apps require one big heavy drive so as to keep things going as smooth as butter. If you are frequent user, then its all the more necessary that you keep the Steam drive empty and clean. But what if you want to Steam to some other hard drive for more effectiveness? Here is how you do it:
♦ Close all Steam Apps and Quit Steam.
♦ Navigate to the place where your Steam directory is. Copy the SteamApps folder and paste it in some other location. Now Uninstall Steam.
♦ After that, again install Steam on the new drive.
♦ Now copy the SteamApps folder to the new location, usually X:\Steam\SteamApps where X is the new drive.
♦ Run Steam now and everything will be fine now.
Thats it! You don’t need for the files to get downloaded or wait for those heavy updates.
