   Hey. Thanks for the list!!

   I’m doing the same too. If you like i could let you know if i have success with these – I’m testing soon – Call of the Chtulhu – Dark corners of the Earth. Silent Hill 2, 3, 4, Homecoming and Silent Hill PSONE/P.C Conversion. Splinter Cell 2, 3, Double Agent. Criminal Origins, Penumbra Series, Tomb Raider Underworld, Anniversary and Legend, also Angel of Darkness. Hells highway, Star Trek Legacy, Colin McRea 2005, Ford Racing, Star Wars (Several Games – Battlefront, etc)And a few more…:)

   I will let you know as it may help your benchmarking testing, 32 bit by the way, Nvidia 9500 and 9800 GTs, 2 GB Ram, 2.2 + 3.6 GHz AMD’s 5000+, so not too high spec for the average gamer

   Any idea on how to get Age of Empires 3 to work? Crashes on startup with the the “age of empires has experienced a problem”

   Hi

   I have played almost all of the games i mentioned in my comment above.

   Every game actually has better compat than Vista.

   Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners.. sometimes doesn’t work well with a wireless keyboard, seems to not load it into the game.

   I have noticed some lag with Tomb Raider Underworld but only for split seconds.

   If anyone wants a detailed report if your thinking of installing Win 7 ill be happy to help.

   Overall, Win 7 is by far more workable than Vista, build 7000 of win 7 by the way.

   “age of empires has experienced a problem”

   Have you tried Administrator Privilege?

   Turn off User Account Control (UAC)

   ?? Sometimes it helps if the game set up is on the p.c and not a disc.

   Seems win 7 gives a lot of ”Data Recyclic Redundancy” messages if it can’t continue from ISO/disc images…..

   I’ve had better luck installing from copying the game files to the p.c and installing from there.

   Age of Mythology will crash on Windows 7 after an hour of play, or shorter if you play 3v3. I’ve tried it in 3 systems and an hour later you’ll get the “WIndows cannot allocate memory” message.

   I’m having trouble with Age of Empires III. The text on the options pages themselves, and most of the text in the game (aside from the tooltips) isn’t showing up.

   The game files seem fine otherwise and the main menu text and tooltips (the little help boxes that show up when you hold the mouse over where text should be to explain the option) show up fine.

   Any ideas?

   Also, looking in the Age3Log.txt, I see the following:

   Obviously I’m not using a GeForce FX 6800… I’m not even using an NVidia card! Is there any chance this could be part of the problem?

   (I’ve tried running as Administrator and using the XP SP2 compatibility mode etc, and nothing helps.)

   It looks like the problem is with the Aero theme. Change the theme to Windows 7 Basic and the text shows up.

    Hi.
    I cant install Medal of honor airborne, i put cdkey, choose language, -> OK. and nothing.
    first i think this game is not compatible, but now i see this list and i think i made some misstakes ?
    can u help me please?
    it is realy compatible with windows7 ?

    Need for Speed Undercover does not work in Windows 7 build 7068. The game starts then the video freezes, if left to run the computer reboots. I have the same setup as I had with vista x64 which worked fine

    I’m installing Age of Empires right now, and it said that it is incompatable with windows 7. For those of you having problems(haven’t tested this yet), I think that upgrading to “The Warchiefs” might help, since it was designed on Windows Vista, not Windows XP(the original was designed on WinXP). Just a thought. “The Asian Dynasties” might help, but if you already have “The WArchiefs” installed, I can’t really see how it would.

    @ Roman,

    Try cleaning the registry. if that doesnt work, then try uninstalling the PhysX and then install the game, and then install PhysX again. If it still doesnt work then contact the company for a new CD key.

    1.Click the Start button , click All Programs, and then click Accessories.
    2.Right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. In the User Account Control window, verify that Program name is Windows Command Processor, and then click Yes.
    3.In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type or paste the following text at the prompt: reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\Disabled Sessions /va /f

    4.Press Enter to install the solution.
    5.If The operation completed successfully displays, close the Administrator: Command Prompt window to complete this procedure.

    I’m trying to play AoE 3 and whenever I try to start the game, nothing happens. The process for the game is running, but nothing ever happens (besides Aero turning off)

    Silent Hil 4 doesn’t work in Windows 7 for some reason…

    But Silent Hill 2, 3 and Homecoming are compatible …

    Heya! i need help! well, i have an acer laptop computer, in the past, i have the Windows Vista Basic but i have change it for the Windows 7, so, i want to play Age Of Mithology The Titans, when i used to play it in the Vista Basic, it runs correctly, but when i start the game in the win7, start the game, but in the principal menu, doesnt appears nothing, just listen the music, but i cant see nothing, just the mouse cursor.
    In the Big Fish games, pass the same, only that in this games, appears a window that say that my video target isnt compatible, i used to play it in the basic without troubles, but in the Win7 it appears.
    Whats happening? please someone help me!!

    I was wondering if anybody knows why when I installed Knights of the Old Republic 2 the screen is constantly flickering? I am on windows 7 64-bit and it starts when I click the mouse cursor every time.

    Hi

    I have recently installed Prince of Persia 2008 on my Windows 7 64 bit and it seemed to wok fine untill i started the game. The menus run flawless but the game itself laggs incredibly. Like runs for 1 sec then stops for 3 :/

    If u have any idea of what might be able to fix this i would be glad

    i was successfully playing my AGE OF MYTHOLOGY on windows xp
    but i am not able to see my same game running on windows 7 successfully.
    the problem is i am not able to see any thing on screen except the mouse pointer.
    the game is running as i can guess from sound but nothing is visible on screen.

    i will be glad if u can try to fix this……
