One of my friends recently pointed out some facts that I didn’t know about Twitter. Then I sat wondering, there are millions of users there on Twitter who are actually still clueless as to what it really is. Therefore, I sat down to write this post. Some might be obvious to you but I thought I’d include it anyway.
♦ Select a very good username. Humour is okay but stay away from raunchy ones. Some of the characteristics of a very good username are putting your last name first, using titles such as Dr or Mr, adding underscores in between names etc.
♦ Some of your friends of other social networking sites might be on Twitter. Double check. Trust me, I realised this yesterday.
♦ Do a little homework. Research about the site. It might appear simple but there are lots of functions and features. The search bar is a start.
♦ Also use Twitter Tools, there are lots of them out there you will just get blown away with the features they offer.
♦ Follow everyone who follows you or atleast those who you think or worth following.
