Now you can withdraw/cancel access to the Twitter Applications. There are so many twitter applications and everyday there is something new coming up. Many Twitter apps spam using your accounts to market their products or links and claim to get you followers quickly. You can get rid of it easily(if you have signed up for it) that is withdraw/cancel their access to your account.
You could change your password first. 
How do you Withdraw access to Twitter applications:
♦ After logging in Twitter, click on ‘Settings’.
♦ The page will now show the details of your ‘Account’ page. Go to the Connections page.
♦ Revoke/ Withdraw access to applications you don’t want.
The application spamming using your account will stop if you follow the above steps.
