How To Cancel A Friend Request On Facebook

There are times when you regret sending friend requests to some people on Facebook? Or you might have thought that it might be a person and you know and found out he/she actually has profile picture and you sent a request to someone unknown. Fear not, here is how you cancel a friend request on Facebook.

How To Cancel Friend Request:

1. On the Settings Drop Down Menu on the right hand top corner of the page, click ‘Privacy.’

2. You should see the above page. Now type the name of the person you wish to cancel Friend Request in the Block People box (circled as 2).

3. Now click Block. Thats it! Now the friend request has been cancelled.

You can unblock the person again by typing their name so as to let them view your profile in the future. Also, please think twice before you give a friend request in the future.
