Well, we all have our reasons to delete browsing history from the web browsers. Other than the obvious, it might be about other secure sites too. Deleting the browsing history normally doesn’t really delete them all, in fact some of the keywords get retained when someone else is trying to search similar terms. Here’s how you delete internet browsing history even in the search box in Internet Explorer.

This works only for Internet Explorer 8.
1. Click the Start button and type Run in the Start Search box and hit Enter.
2. In the Run dialog box, type inetcpl.cpl and hit enter.
3. In the new dialog box that has popped up, click the Contents tab.
4. Under the Auto Complete, click Settings.
5. The Auto Complete Window should open now, Uncheck the Browsing History option. Click Ok.
6. Click Apply in the Internet Properties window and click OK.
Thats it! Your Browsing History should be now completely deleted along with the search bar history!
